Everything stays on your device.
This policy describes how FitFerry handles your information. The short version: it all happens on your iPhone or iPad, and we collect nothing.

The whole policy in one sentence FitFerry does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your data, health-related or otherwise, because all of its work happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad.
What FitFerry does with your data
FitFerry reads workout files you choose (GPX, TCX, FIT, or zip archives containing them) and, at your explicit direction, writes their contents to Apple Health on your device. It can also read workouts from Apple Health, again only when you ask it to, in order to create GPX or TCX files that you save or share yourself.
All parsing, importing, and exporting is performed locally, on your device. FitFerry has no server component. Nothing you import, export, inspect, or view is ever transmitted off your device by the app.
Health data (HealthKit)
FitFerry uses Apple's HealthKit framework. It requests permission to read and write workout data, and it uses that access only to carry out the imports and exports you initiate. Specifically:
- Health data is read or written only at your explicit direction, when you choose to import a file or to export workouts.
- Health data never leaves your device through FitFerry.
- Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or any similar purpose.
- Health data is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties.
You can review or revoke FitFerry's Health permissions at any time in the Health app or in Settings, and you can delete anything FitFerry has written to Apple Health directly from the Health app.
What FitFerry does not do
Rather than list categories of data we might collect, it's simpler to state what is true: we don't collect any. FitFerry has:
- No data collection of any kind. No personal information, no usage data, no identifiers.
- No analytics and no crash-reporting services.
- No tracking, no advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no credentials to store.
- No servers operated by us that the app talks to.
Purchases
The one-time lifetime unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's own privacy policy. Reforged Studio never sees your payment details. The app only learns from Apple whether the unlock has been purchased, so it can enable unlimited imports.
Your files
Files you open with FitFerry are read from wherever you keep them (the Files app, iCloud Drive, or a shared location) using the standard iOS document picker and share sheet. FitFerry does not copy your files anywhere beyond what's needed to parse them on your device, and files you export are saved or shared only to the destinations you choose.
Children
FitFerry does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised before that version ships. Because the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare.
